(1) The induction melting furnace circuit now uses constant output power control. Even when there are loading and temperature changes in the melting process, the load rate can still be close to 100%, which can shorten the melting time.

(2) The power circuit of the induction melting furnace can reduce the power supply capacity. Because it is a voltage-type series inverter, when it is working normally, the rectifier thyristors will be fully turned on and have a high power supply factor, which can reduce the power supply capacity.

(3) The efficiency of induction melting furnaces is now higher. The inverter adopts the half-control bridge method, requires few main circuit components, and uses the direct output method. The ballast-free matching transformer improves the efficiency and reliability.

(4) The circuit has good starting characteristics. Under full load, it can also be used as needed.

(5) The interference to the power supply network is minimized. The rectifier circuit uses a thyristor to achieve soft start and soft stop. During normal operation, the thyristor is fully turned on. Therefore, during normal operation, the high-order harmonics are small, and there is no large current impact when starting and stopping.

(6) Adopt integrated structure, occupying less land. In addition to the heating coil on the furnace, other components, including matching capacitors, are installed in the cabinet to form an integrated power supply, so the installation area is small and easy to install.

(7) The induction melting furnace now has a complete protection and monitoring system.
