The mechanical installation of the induction melting furnace includes the installation of the furnace body, the electric furnace, the operating table, and the water system. Installation must be done in the following order:

1. General rules for installation

1.1. After the equipment is placed in the layout plan, adjust the level and size to meet the relevant drawing requirements, then hang the anchor bolts, pour the cement, and tighten the anchor bolts after the health.

2. After the furnace body, hydraulic device and control console of the induction melting furnace are installed, connect the external hydraulic circuit.

1.3. Make a good connection between the main inlet and outlet pipes and the water source of the factory.

1.4. The connection of the inlet and outlet pipes of each furnace body is carried out with reference to the water system diagram. In principle, each branch road should be equipped with a ball valve. In order to make each branch road relatively independent, the flow can be adjusted.

1.5. Connect the grounding wire of the furnace body and require the grounding resistance to be <4Ω.

2. Connection of the water system: The connection of the water system includes the connection of primary circulating water and secondary circulating water.

2.1. Primary circulating water (industrial softened water) refers to the cooling water for furnace and water-cooled cables. The installation should be carried out according to the provided water system diagram and piping layout.

2.2. Secondary circulating water (pure water) refers to the cooling water for the half-bridge series inverter intermediate frequency power supply (including rectifier thyristor, DC smoothing reactor, inverter thyristor, incoming inductance and commutating inductance). The water system diagram and piping layout provided by the design institute or equipment manufacturer are used for construction. All piping accessories for the secondary circulating water system must be made of stainless steel (1Cr18Ni1Ti).

2.3. After the water system is connected, do the water pressure test. The test pressure is 0.4Mpa, and there should be no leakage for 15 minutes.

2.4. After the installation of the primary circulating water system, the external circulation test should be carried out for 4 hours. During the cycle test, the pipe wall and joints should be struck every 20 minutes to allow the scale, welding slag and debris in the pipeline to be fully drained. The pipe is clean and unobstructed.
